How It Works
The first step in creating a great video resume, invitation, or business card (after hiring ADP to produce it for you, of course), is to write an effective script. For Video Resume writing tips, please click the link to the left. If you need more help or input, for a small fee we are also available for phone consultation. Practice reading your script out loud and adjust any sections you have difficulty saying until your delivery is smooth and natural. Rehearsing it in front of a mirror is a great way to practice.
For the video recording, you can come to our location, in Palmdale, CA, or we can bring the lights, background, computer and production gear to you. After setting up (which usually takes about 45 minutes), we'll sit down at the computer together and build your show. You can select from a wide range of templates which allows you to choose the background, graphics, and music for your video.
We can import your script from a word file or manually type it onto the timeline. Your script is then merged with your selected background, music, titles, ect. Based on your reading speed, we'll adjust the timeline to you. After customizing the titles and lower thirds with your information, your show is recorded as you read your script in real time right into the computer. If it doesn't go perfectly, don't worry, we can take our time and re-record as needed.
